6 large baking apples (Rome or York)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons butter, melted
3 tablespoons brown sugar
teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Peel, core and cut apples in half. Place in crock pot. Drizzle with lemon juice and butter. Sprinkle with sugar and spices. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. To serve top with vanilla ice cream.
