8 oz. small elbow macaroni
2 cups large curd cottage cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 egg slightly beaten
3/4 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. dijon mustard
2 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Directions:
Directions:
Cook macaroni until tender.

In large bowl, combine remaining ingredients, except 1/2 cup cheese.

Drain macaroni well and toss with cheese mixture. Turn into an 8 x 8" buttered pan. Top with remaining cheese.

Bake at 400 for 30-35 minutes or until set.

You had to get this on your plate on your first trip through the buffet or it would be GONE! A favorite of everyone, this recipe was used at almost every holiday and special occasion meal.
