1 1 1/2 lb. flank steak
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup orange juice
3 tbsp. soy sauce
3 tbsp. honey
2 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
1 tbsp. minced green onion
1 1/2 tsp. grated fresh gingerroot
1 clove garlic, crushed

Trim excess fat from steak. Score meat diagonally across grain at 3/4" intervals.

Place steak in a large shallow dish.

Combine oil and next 7 ingredients. Pour marinade over steak. Cover and marinate in refrigerator for hours, turning occasionally.

Remove meat from marinade and discard marinade.

Place meat on a greased rack in broiler pan. Broil 3" from heat for 5-6 minutes on each side.

Slice diagonally across grain into thin slices and serve immediately.
