4 eggs, beaten
4 c milk, scalded (almost to boil)
1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
8 slices bread, buttered a little

on one side
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
1/2 c raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Break up bread. Mix with raisins. Place in 9 X 13
pan. Mix eggs, milk, sugar, and vanilla. Sprinkle cinnamon on or in between bread. Pour milk mixture over bread. Nutmeg on top. Let set 30 - 60 minutes. Bake 40 minutes at 350 . Can tell by looking if done.
