3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. stick butter, softened
1 large egg
2 1/4 c. all purpose flour
1 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375. Cream sugars, margarine, and egg in large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. (Dough will be stiff). Stir in chocolate chips.

Drop dough by rounded tablespoon about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes. OR, press dough into ungreased 9X13 pan and bake 15-20 minutes.

Mark likes to use the electric stand mixer to make the dough. It is a lot easier and quicker than mixing by hand. When the kids were little and we were visiting the farm, we usually took these to share.
