1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 legg
1/2 cup molasses
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons ginger
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter in bowl until creamy. Add brown sugar, beating well. Add egg; stir in molasses and orange peel.

Combine flour, and next 6 ingredients; add to creamed mixture; add juice. Pour batter into greased and floured 9 x 5 loaf pan.

Bake at 350 for 55 minutes. Let cool in pan 5 minutes; remove from pan and let cool completely.
