1 lb ground beef
1 minced onion
2 - 6-oz cans tomato paste
2 - 8-oz cans tomato sauce
1/8 tsp garlic powder
4 c water
1/4 c sugar
2 tsp salt
Black pepper
1 tsp sweet basil
Dash hot pepper

Brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for two hours.
