3 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 stick oleo or butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
8 oz. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. Incorporate 2 eggs. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 375 approximately 8 minutes. Do not brown. Ice cookies, if desired, or top each with a maraschino cherry.
