1/3 Cup sweet cream,
4 eggs well beaten,
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 Cup cake flour,
2 teaspoons of baking-powder
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, measure,and sift with salt and baking powder. Combine eggs, sugar and cream. Stir until well blended. Add flavoring, and dry ingredients and beat 5 Minutes. Pour into well oiled shallow pan. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes

I believe this is the cream cake, I remember Grandma Rapson making, when she lived on the farm out by Ozark. It was always so good because she made it with her own cream from the cows off the farm. Yum. It was so good.
