3 cups apple cider
1/4 cup sugar
3 inches stick cinnamon
6 whole cloves
Peel of 1/2 lemon cut in strips
1 bottle red wine
2 tlbs. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 5 ingredients in saucepan, bring to boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
Strain to remove spices and peel.
Add wine and lemon juice.
Heat through, but DO NOT BOIL.
