2 c. lukewarm water
2 cakes yeast
1/2 c sugar
1/3 c. vegetable shortening
2 eggs
salt to suit taste
6 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in water and add 2 cups flour, salt, sugar and shortening. Stir this together. Add the well beaten eggs and beat the batter. (Use egg beater) Add rest of flour. Mix with spoon but may have to use hand a bit at last. Requires no kneading. Cover and let this stand about 25 minutes. Then shape into buns. Let raise and bake as other buns. So easy, quick and GOOD!

Granma always had homemade buns. You would lift up her celler door in the livingroom and step down to grab some raspberry jam to top them off!
