3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
4 T.molasses
1 tsp.cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 level tsp. soda
2 c. flour

Directions:

Mix together. Form into balls size of walnut. Dip in sugar. Bake at 350.
