2 sticks butter, softened
1/4 cup shortening (Crisco is best)
3 cups sugar
6 large eggs - room temperature
3 cups sifted all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk
1 tsp vaniila extract
1 tsp lemon extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325F
Cream together butter and shorteninguntil blended well. Add in eggs and sugar. Mix until well blended. Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Gradually add flour and milk and mix well. Add extracts, mix well, scraping sides of bowl. Pour into a well graesed and floured tube or bundt pan. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean when tested.
