2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspon worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper
1 clove garlic, minced
1/3 cup beer
2 tablespoons butter, softened

Directions:
Directions:
Combine cheese, worcestershire sauce, mustard, ground red pepper and garlic. Mix until smooth.

Bring beer just to a boil in saucepan. Pour over cheese mixture and blend until smooth; add butter.

Spoon into serving bowl. Cover, refrigerate at least 1 hour to blend flavors.

Let stand at room temperature at least 30 minutes before serving.

Serve with assorted crackers.
