6 C chopped celery
1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 can sliced Water Chestnuts (chopped)
2/3 C crushed French Onion Crackers
1 pkg slivered Almonds toasted
1/2 C melted Butter or Margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Boil celery 4 minutes, drain and add soup and water chestnuts. Mix well and put in baking dish. Combine crackers, almonds and butter. Sprinkle on top of celery mixture.
Bake 350 25 minutes

This is a great side dish and goes with any meat. Mandy Rose made this for us when she was about 12 and I've always kept the recipe.
