1/2 c. Butter; 6 medium Sweet Onions, sliced; 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup; 1c. Milk; salt/pepper; 1/2 lb. Swiss Cheese, grated; French bread slices.

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Butter baking dish. Melt butter and add onions. Cook until tender & clear. Transfer to baking dish. Combine other ingredients and pour over onions. Buter bread slices and put on top of onion mixture, butter side up. Bake for 30 minutes or until bread is golden brown.
