1 cup sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
2 cups applesauce
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup raisins
1 cup chopped pecans

Frosting:
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 3/4 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350.

In bowl, combine sugar and butter. Add applesauce, egg and vanilla. Add flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. By hand, stir in raisins and nuts. Pour into greased 15 x 10 jelly roll pan. Bake 24-28 minutes. Cool completely.

Meanwhile, in saucepan, melt butter; stir in brown sugar and salt. Cook over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat to low, stirring occasionally cook for 2 minutes. Carefully stir in milk. Cook over medium heat 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla. Beat with wire whisk,, gradually add powdered sugar until mixture is smooth (2-3 minutes).

Frost cooled bars immediately; cut into bars.
