Berry Good Fruit Pizza Recipe

1/2 c shortening
3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c flour
1 egg
1/2 tsp soda
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp cream of tartar

Fruit Pizza
8 oz softened cr. cheese
3 tsp. sugar
can of mandarin oranges and pinapple slices
2 tbsp ornstarch
assorted fruits strawberries, kiwi, oranges, pineapple...

Cream shortening and 3/4 c. sugar until fluffy. Add egg. Add dry ingredients for crust. Spread on 10 inch pizza pan and bake 350 for 10- 15 minutes. Beat 8 oz softened cream cheese and 3 tbsp sugar. Spread over cooled crust. Drain can of mandarin oranges and pineapple slices. Cook 1 1/2 drained juice and 2 tbsp cornstarch until thick. This makes a glaze. Overlap assorted fruits on pizza and then, pour glaze over all fruit.
