1 c. flour
2/3 sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa
1/2 c. whole milk
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. packed brown sugar
vanilla ice-cream

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. Grease 8x8 glass pan. In medium bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinn, and 1/4 c, cocoa. Whisk in milk, butter, and vanilla just until smooth. Spread batter into baking dish. In small bowl, mix brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa; sprinkle evenly over batter. Carefully pour 11/2 cups boiling water over ixture in baking dish; do not stir. Bake 30 minutes(batter will separate into cake and pudding layers). Cool in pan on wire rack 10 minutes. Serve warm in dessert bowls with ice cream if you like.
