1 lb. dried apricots
4 quarts warm water
6 cups granulated sugar
2 cups seeded raisins
1 tablespoon ginger
2 lemons sliced thin
2 oranges sliced thin
cake yeast

Directions:
Directions:
Cut cots in half and wash in several waters. Put in large crock or enamel pan and pour on warm water minus cup to dissolve yeast in. Stir in sugar, fruit, raisin and ginger. Add dissolved yeast and mix well. Cover and let stand 30 days stirring every other day. Strain and bottle. Gets better in time.
