8 medium potatoes
¼ lb. bacon
1 onion
3 stalks celery
3 cans Snows minced clams
1 large sized can evaporated milk
Salt and pepper to taste
½ teaspoon worcestshire
1 tablespoon parsley (fresh or dried)
1 pinch Italian seasoning

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice potatoes on grater, cover with water, add salt fairly heavy. Bring to a boil and cook until tender. Skim starch while cooking. When done drain excess water and starch. Meanwhile fry bacon until crisp, crumble into small dish and set aside. Chop celery, onion and parsley together and sauté in small amount of oil. When potatoes are done add minced clams plus clam juice in can, then add vegetables and bacon. Add evaporated milk, pepper and worcestshire. Add Italian seasoning. Let simmer on low heat until ready to serve. Thick and delicious.
