3/4 C flour,
1T sugar,
1 T cornmeal,
2tsp baking powder,
1-2 tsp salt,
3/4 C milk,
21/4 C chopped onion ( I use reconstituted dry onions).

mix first 5 ingredients , add milk and then chopped onion. Drop into hot fat 3-4 min each side until golden.
