6-8 slices beef or venison steak
3 T vegetable oil
1 c. flour
1/4 c. corn meal, optional
1 t. salt
1/2 t. pepper
1/4 t. garlic powder
1 med. green pepper,cut into thin strips
1 stalk celery,cut into 1/2 inch slices at an angle
11/2 med. onion, sliced thin
1 can beef broth
1 c. water
2 T flour mixed with 2 T water.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour,corn meal,salt, pepper and garlic powder together.Dredge the meat in flour mixture and brown off in vegetable oil. Add the balance of the ingredients and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Serve over rice,noodles or potatoes.
