1 pkg. caramel candy
2 T. water
4 popsicle sticks
4 lg. Granny Smith Apples
2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. shortening
1 c. toffee bits

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan combine caramels and water. Melt over medium heat. Insert wooden sticks into apples and dip the apples into the caramel mixture turning to coat. Immediately coat with nuts and set on waxed paper to cool. Melt chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave safe bowl. Drizzle over apples. Sprinkle with toffee bits. Set on waxed paper to cool. Wrap with plastic wrap or cut into wedges to serve.
