4 c water
4 pkgs yeast (8 tsp)
4 tsp salt
4 eggs
8-12 tbsp (1 cup) sugar
4 tbsp melted shortening
8 c flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in 1 c of warm water. Mix in rest of ingredients. Mix into soft dough. Let stand 15 minutes. Knead dough for 3 minutes. Shape into 3/4 loaves. Put into greased 1# bread pans. Let stand 30 minutes in warm place. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

For whole wheat use 3 c of whole wheat flour and use brown sugar in place of white sugar.
