2/3 c. shortening
1 1/2c. sugar
2 eggs; seperated
1 c. ripe mashed bananas
1 ts. vanilla
1/4 ts. salt
4 Tb. sour cream
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 ts. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugar. Add yokes, mix well. Add mashed bananas. Sift flour, soda and salt. Add alternately with vanilla and sour cream.
Fold in beaten egg whites. Add chopped nuts.

Pour in 13x9 pan and bake 35-40 min. at 325
