1 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 3 eggs; whites beaten and seperated from yokes 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 ts. salt 2 ts. baking pwd. 1 ts. vanilla 4 Tb. cold water
Cook sugar and 1/2 c. water till thread spins. Add to beaten whites. Mix dry ingred.; sift 3 x. Add this to yokes then to whites. Add flavoring and cold water. Bake 40-50 min. at 350 in an ungreased pan
