8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 tsp. peppermint extract
9 c. confectioner's sugar
3/4 c. milk chocoalte chips
3/4 c. semisweet chocolate chips
3 T. shortening

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and extract until smooth. Gradually add confectioners sugar and beat well. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on waxed paper lined baking sheets. Flatten with patties. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour until well chilled. In a microwave, melt the chocolate chips and shortening. Stir until smooth. Cool slightly. Dip patties in melted chocolate and place on waxed paper until firm. Store in refrigerator.
