9 T. butter, no substitutes
1/2 c. sugar
1 T. light corn syrup
1 c. sliced almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Line a 8 x 8 inch pan with foil and butter with 1/2 tablespoon of butter. Set aside. Coat the sides of saucepan with 1/2 tablespoon of butter. In the same saucepan add 1/2 cup of butter, sugar, and syrup to saucepan. Bring to boil stirring constantly. Cook and stir until mix is golden brown or 295. Stir in almonds. Quickly pour into prepared pan. Refrigerate until firm. Invert pan and remove foil. Break candy into pieces.
