Chocolate Cookies

1 cup margarine
2 cups brown sugar
tsp vanilla
2 eggs
4 (1 oz) squares unsweetened chocolate -melted
tsp soda
3 cups flour
tsp salt
1 cups sour cream
1 cup nuts (optional)

Chocolate Frosting

1 cup sugar
cup butter
cup milk
1 chocolate square
tsp vanilla

Chocolate Cookies

Cream margarine & brown sugar. Add eggs, vanilla & melted chocolate. Stir in flour, soda & salt alternately with the sour cream. Add the chopped nuts, if desired. Bake 10-12 minutes in 325 degree oven.

Chocolate Frosting

Put all ingredients, except vanilla, in pan on stove. Melt & bring to a full boil for one minute. Place pan in sink filled w/cold water to cool, add the vanilla. After frosting is cool, beat at high speed for a couple of minutes.
