1 fryer
1/2 c. butter
4 T. flour
1 c. milk
2 c. broth
1 c. self-rising flour
1 egg

Sauce:
1/2 c. butter
1 c. milk
4 t. flour

Crust:
1 c. self-rising flour
1 egg (add to cup of milk from above)

Directions:
Directions:
Chicken:
Boil chicken with salt and pepper until tender. Remove from bone and put in casserole dish. Pour sauce (below) over this, then spoon crust (below) on top.
Sauce:
Mix ingredients into 2 cups broth. Boil until slightly thickened. Pour over chicken.
Crust:
Stir into flour. This makes a thin batter. Spoon over top. Bake at 350 until golden brown.
