1/3 c. soft Shortening,
1/2 c. Sugar,
1 Egg,
1 1/2 cups. sifted Flour,
1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder,
1/2 tsp. Salt,
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg,
1/2 c. Milk.

For Topping:
6 tsp. Butter, melted;
1/2 c. Sugar,
1 tsp. Cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Mix shortening, sugar, and egg. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg. Stir dry ingredients into wet ingredients alternately with milk. Fill greased muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Immediately roll in melted butter, then in mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
