6 c. sliced cucumbers
1 T. salt
1 c. sliced pepper (bell or banana)
1 c. onion (sliced & separated)
1-3/4 c. sugar
1 t. celery seed
1 c. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Place cucumbers, pepper and onion in large mixing bowl; stir in salt and let sit in refrigerator for two hours. Pour off excess liquid and put mixture in jars.

Mix the sugar, celery seed, and vinegar in boiler and heat until sugar is dissolved (DO NOT BOIL). Pour over cucumbers, cover and place in refrigerator for three days before eating.
