1/2 pound butter
3/4 C sugar
4 eggs
3 1/2 C flour
3/4 C milk
4 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
As appeared on the recipe card-assumed directions: Preheat oven to 350, grease and flour pan(s).
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, continuing to beat mixture. Add vanilla and milk. Sift together dry ingredients then add gradually. May want to alternate milk with dry ingredients as mixing.
Bake until toothpick comes out clean. Good Luck!
