1 lb hamburger
1 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. celery
24 oz. tomato juice
1 (14.5) can beef broth
1 c. water (may use more)
2 tsp. salt ( to your taste)
1 tsp chili powder
pepper
1/2 c. uncooked "quick" quaker barley
1 to 2 potatoes chopped

Directions:

Cook meat, onion and celery until meat is brown. Drain and stir in remaining ingrediants. Heat to a boil. Cover and reduce to a simmer until done.
