1 cup of corn meal
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons sugar
teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon butter
Milk
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix and sift together 1 cup of corn meal, 1 cup flour, 2 tablespoons sugar, teaspoon salt and 3 teaspoons baking powder. Melt 1 tablespoon butter and add to 1 egg: mix milk and egg and beat into dry ingredients. Pour this mixture into well greased pans and bake in hot oven for hour. Cut in squares and serve hot.
