1 ½ cups brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/3 cup rhubarb cut fine
½ cup shortening
1 cup buttermilk
2 cup sifted flour

Directions:
Directions:

Mix all ingredients together and then fold in chopped rhubarb. Pour in 9” x 13” pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

Topping:

¾ cup white sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix vanilla into sugar, add cinnamon, spread on batter and bake.
