1 large fryer
1 medium onion
¼ lb. fresh mushrooms
Butter
Clove of garlic
Olive oil
Salt
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cut 1 large fryer into 6 pieces. Flour lightly and sauté in skillet in half butter and half oil (enough to make ½ 02 cup). Add 1 clove garlic to skillet. Turn chicken several times. When half done add 1 medium onion cut up and ¼ lb. fresh mushrooms cleaned and sliced. When almost done cover for about 5 minutes then add flour and boiling water gradually, stirring to make gravy base. Add ¼ pint cream over all, season to taste with salt and pepper and cook slowly until gravy us thoroughly heated.
