2 lbs. ground chuck
½ head of cabbage
4 carrots
3 tomatoes
1 medium can baked beans or pork and beans
1 cup brown gravy (Schillings gravy mix)
4 cups mashed potatoes
1 small onion

Directions:
Directions:
Crumble and sauté meat until it loses its red color. Drain off excess fat and water. Meanwhile cook cabbage and carrots until tender. Boil potatoes until done. Chop onion fine. Place cooked meat in large bowl, add chopped onion and tomatoes cut into pieces. Add cooked carrots and beans and mix thoroughly. Pour gravy over mixture. Top with mashed potatoes to which drained cabbage has been added. Smooth potato mixture over top of meat as for pie. Bake for 45 minutes in a 275 degree oven and then brown at 350 degrees for 10 more minutes.
