3/4 c brown sugar
3/4 c molasses
3/4 c melted oleo
2 eggs
2 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp ginger
1-1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1 c boiling water
1 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, molasses, oleo and eggs together. Meanwhile, sift together all the dry ingredients. Mix dry ingredients with sugar mixture. Add water and soda; mix well. Pour into a greased & floured 9x12" cake pan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350.
