Banana Nut Bars Recipe

1 c sugar
1 c mashed very ripe bananas
1/3 c oil
2 eggs
1 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c chopped nuts

3 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 c butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
2 c powdered sugar

BARS: Mix sugar, bananas, oil and eggs in large bowl with spoon. Stir in flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Stir in nuts. Spread batter in a greased 13x9x2" baking dish. Bake in a 350 oven for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely. Frost. Store, covered, in refrigerator.

FROSTING: Mix cream cheese, butter and vanilla in bowl. Gradually beat in powdered sugar with spoon until smooth and spreadable.
