1/2 c shortening
1 2/3 c sugar
2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
2 c sifted flour
2 oz sq unsweetened
Chocolate, melted
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c milk
1/2 c chopped walnuts
Sifted powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream shortening, sugar and vanilla. Beat in eggs, then chocolate. Sift together dry ingredients; blend in alternately with milk. Add nuts. Chill 3 hours. Form in 1" balls and roll in powdered sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet 2-3" apart. Bake at 350 about 15 minutes. Cool slightly. Remove from pan.
