2 cups sifted flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk


Topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4tsp nutmeg

Serves: 12
Preparation Time: 30 minutes plus refrigerate overnight

Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt together. Cream margarine, sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs,1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Spread in 9x13 greased pan. Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. On Christmas morning, pull out of fridge and bake 350 for 30-35 minutes. Serve warm.
