6slices bacon, chopped
1 cup chopped onion
1 1/4 cup water
2 1/2 cups diced potatoes
1 cup chopped carrots
1 t instant chicken boullion
3 cups milk
2 cans whole kernel corn, drained
1/8 t white pepper
1/8 t salt
3 cups shredded cheddar
3T flour

Partially cook bacon in quart pan. Stir in onions, cook until bacon is crisp. stir in water, carrots, potatoes & boullion. reduce heat and cover. Simmer until potatoes and carrots are tender, 15-20 minutes. Stir in milk, corn, salt & pepper. Heat to simmer. Mix cheese & flour; add to soup mixture, stirring constantly.
