1 small japanese cucumber
1 1/4 cup of plain yogurt (not low fat)
1 large garlic clove, crushed
4 Tbsp chopped fresh mint or dry dill
salt and pepper to taste
Warm pita bread to serve

Directions:
Directions:
1. Peel and then coarsely chop or grate cucumber. Squeeze out as much water as possible.

2. Add yogurt, garlic and mint or dill. Season to taste with pepper and salt. Add cucumber and mix well by hand.

3. Chill and serve with pita bread.

May have to add a lot of salt as plain yogurt is pretty bland. Flavor is best when dip has a chance to chill (1 hour). I have been known to add more dill and garlic then the recipe asks for.
