2 1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup water
2 tbsp cornstarch
3 tbsp lemon juice

Crunch mixture:
3/4 cup soft butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1 3/4 cup flour
1 1/2 cup quick oats

Mix all filling ingredients in a saucepan, cook and stir over medium heat until thick. Cool. Cream butter and sugar, add salt, and soda. Stir in oats and flour. Press and flatten 1/2 mixture in bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread cooled filling on top. Cover with remaining crumb mixture and press lightly. Bake at 400 about 25 minutes. Cut when warm.
