1/2 c. shortening or 1 stick of butter
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp of cocoa
2 eggs
1/2 c. flour
1/8 tsp salt
1 tsp chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Soften butter & sugar & mix with cocoa.
Add unbeated egg one at a time. Beat well, sift flour with salt & 1/2 cup of nuts to flour. Mix all together ~ Pour into greased 9 in. pan. Scatter
1/4 c. nuts on top.
