2 cups sugar
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups Karo syrup
2 cups cream
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup ground nuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Bring to sugar, syrup, butter and 1 cup cream to a boil. Add 1 more cup of cream. Boil to softball, 245, using a candy thermometer. Add 1 tsp vanilla and 1/2 cup nuts, if desired. Pour in well greased 9 x 13 inch pan. When cool, take out of pan and use a pizza cutter or knife to cut into squares. Wrap individually in wax paper.
