1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
1 cup seedy jam
2 cups flour
1/2 cup sour milk
1 tsp soda in milk

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add egg and jam. Stir in flour alternately with sour milk. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Serve with fresh cream. Can substitute 1 cup cream for 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup butter. If cream or milk is sweet, add 1 tsp vinegar.
