1 Package German Sweet Chocolate
1/2 Cup Water
1 Cup Margarine
2 Cups Sugar
4 Egg Yolks Beaten
1 TSP Vanilla
1/2 TSP Salt
1 TSP Baking Soda
2 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Buttermilk
4 Egg Whites Stiffly Beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Melt German chocolate in 1/2 cup water. Cream margarine, sugar until fluffy. Add egg yolks, mixing with beater. Add chocolate mixture, vanilla & mix well. Add salt, baking soda, flour and mix well. Fold in egg whites that are stiffly beaten.

Bake 350 30 for 30 to 35 minutes

Frost with German Chocolate Frosting
